Our Charity

How we donate: We double any donations from customers to our charity. This means if you donate $10, we will also donate $20 for a total of $30! In 2023, we donated over $3,500!

Our Charity -

Masai Mara SchoolChildren

We donate to fund the education of schoolchildren of the Masai Mara Tribe in South East Kenya. Thousands of kids need our help to go to school every day. Without our support, most will never get an education and escape the cycle of poverty. Funds will go to paying the $180 annual tuition of the children that only 60% of families in the area can afford.

Our connection

to the organization

In March 2023, the three Dyer Brothers had the opportunity to visit the Masai Mara reservation and meet all the schoolchildren. The kids were so kind and excited to meet us. We played soccer with them and visited their school. From this experience, we decided that they could really use our help.

Why we chose

This Charity

  • Fantastic Value -  for $15, a school child can be educated for a month. $180 gets them an entire year! Remember! We double all donations, so donating $60 will result in a total of $180 given to the organization. We are a small company, so we found an organization where we can help as many people as possible with the money we have.

  • Trustworthy - since we visited the school, saw where the money goes, and met the charity's leader, we have complete faith that our money is being used correctly.

  • Good cause - The children need our help! Only 60% of children in the tribe receive an education. Help us make that number 100%!

Who we have helped

MICHELLE SHUNKUR.JPG

This is 11-year-old Michelle Shunkur. Like most kids at her school, both her parents raise livestock in the Kenyan countryside. Since they live far from the nearest school, to provide Michelle with an education, they would need to pay for her tuition, room, and board, which they cannot afford. Thankfully, Dyer Brothers Sealcoating was able to pay the bill in 2023!

About Michelle: Michelle loves school and going home on weekends to see her 6 brothers and sisters. Her favorite subject is science, and when she grows up, she wants to be a lawyer.

By donating $60, you can send Michelle to school for another year!

Jimmy Naimodu

Dennis Letoluo

When he is not at school, 13-year-old Jimmy lives in the Kenyan countryside with his two parents and seven siblings. His favorite subject is English, and he wants to be a pilot when he grows up.

When 12-year-old Dennis isn't working on the family farm or at school, he enjoys playing soccer with his seven siblings. His favorite subject is English and wants to be a tour guide when he grows up.

Here is a video of a class trying to say, "Thank you Dyer Brothers Sealcoating!"
